Cora Graber, 96

Cora Graber, age 96, of Three Rivers, formerly of White Pigeon, passed away at 1:02 pm on Friday, December 8, at Birch Meadows Senior Care in Three Rivers.

She was born on March 2, 1927 in Arthur, IL to William and Mary Ann (Mast) Miller. On August 21, 1948, at Clinton Brick Mennonite Church, she married Joseph A. Graber. He passed away August 28, 2018.

Surviving are four daughters, Linda (Dan) Peterson of Granger, Lorraine (Neal) Mishler of Waynesboro, PA, LuAnne (Kerry) Hart of Ellwood City, PA, and Lois (Mike) Featherstone of Constantine; two sons, Lowell (LaDonna) Graber of White Pigeon, and Lester (Kristal) Graber of Washington, DC; 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters (Mary Ann Schrock, Alta Berger, Celestia Lambright, and Elsie Beall).

Cora was a homemaker and a former member of Clinton Brick Mennonite Church. She enjoyed quilting, cake baking and decorating and spending time with her family. Joe and Cora lived in their farmhouse for 65 years and enjoyed 70 years of marriage. Together they loved to travel around the world.

Visitation will be from 10:00 to 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 16, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 South Main Street in Middlebury. Funeral services will follow the visitation, beginning at 12 noon, also at the funeral home.  Services will be conducted by her son-in-law, Dan Peterson. Burial will be in Clinton Brick Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be given to the Pregnancy Helpline of Three Rivers.
