David Ellsworth Dick of Centreville, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at age 60, after a 14 month battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving wife, Edna. He was born on Monday, January 14, 1963, in Three Rivers, the son of Michael Warner and Linda Adams.
David married his beloved wife Edna (Martinez) on November 9, 2007. By trade he was a truck driver and delivered fifth wheel campers from coast to coast in the United States for many years. He was always on the go, and traveled many, many miles over the years. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and sitting around a good campfire. David was also a “master” morel mushroom hunter. He had a knack for knowing where they would be and how to find them!
He is survived by his wife: Edna; his son: David Dick Jr; two grandsons: Tyson & Braxton; and his siblings: Jim Templin of Constantine, Diane (Chuck) Zinsmaster of Three Rivers, Dawn (Rich) Mathews of Mendon, Laurie (Steve) Schabes of Mendon, Anthony (Nicole) Chupp of Bronson, Michelle Chupp of Three Rivers; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was blessed to have special friends & neighbors: Bill & Sherie Bohm. Bill & David spent countless hours laughing & causing mischief.
We wish you safe travels husband, brother and friend. You don’t have to fill a log book for this trip. Keep the heater on and we’ll see ya sometime in the future.
