St. Joseph County Clerk Lindsay Oswald said voters now have the choice to cast their ballot in person at an early-voting site.
The option is in addition to casting a ballot in person at the appropriate precinct on Election Day or through an absentee-ballot process.
Oswald said the county’s cities and townships have entered an agreement to host early voting for all registered voters at the county’s training facility, 602 E. Main St., Centreville. The early voting site will be available for all statewide and federal elections.
County election workers will secure ballots and equipment at the end of each day of early voting and results will be published at the end of the Election Day, when all other results are published.
Early voting will begin Feb. 17 for the presidential primary election and conclude Feb. 25. Hours for each of the nine days will be posted on the county’s website: stjosephcountymi.org.
