Linda M. Hostetler, age 73, of Howe, Indiana passed away Monday evening, December 18, 2023 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
She was born September 29, 1950 In Sturgis, daughter of the late William Henry and Emma Pauline (Bupp) White.
Linda resided in Burr Oak her whole life before moving to Howe two years ago.
On September 13, 1975 she married Donald Day Hostetler in Sturgis. He preceded her in death January 4, 2016.
She had been employed by LTI Printing in Sturgis and for many years was employed in the retail industry working at Grants, Murphy Mart, Aime, and K-Mart, all in Sturgis.
Linda loved crafting.
She is survived by her daughter: Joanie (Kenny) Myers of Mongo; step-sons: Michael Hostetler and Robert Hostetler both of Bronson; grandchildren: Bobby, Jewel, Kennedy, Abby and Whitney.
Sisters: Carol Ann (Larry) Crapo of Constantine, Lana (Louie) Lee of Freemont, Indiana, Cathy (Gail) Daniels of Sturgis, Penny White of Kalamazoo, Connie (Bill) McDaniel of Constantine and Bonnie Stump of Constantine; brothers: Richard Allen White of Angola, Indiana and D.W. (Deloris) White of Burr Oak and Many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Dale Wayne White.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. Private burial of the remains will take place at Sturgis Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate and honor Linda’s life will be held at a later date to be announced.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
