Wayne Martin, age 62, of Three Rivers, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. He was born in Vicksburg on May 25, 1961 the son of Fredrick O. Martin and Maryetta (Zimpanti) Martin. He attended Mendon Schools and later went on to earn his G.E.D. Wayne was an Electrical Technician 1 at the Getman Corporation and ArcFlo, LLC for the past eleven years where he received numerous awards for achieving company excellence. He was an inventor and creator of solutions.
In his spare time, Wayne enjoyed trips to the casinos. He was a Sci-Fi fan and history buff. He also enjoyed adventures with his metal detector, and all kinds of music. Wayne was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He cherished the time spent with his wife and family. He made friends easily and always enjoyed a good laugh. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Wayne was married to Nancy J. Sinclair on April 29, 2006 in Three Rivers. She survives along with seven children, Kristina McLaughlin of Sturgis, Ashley (Renee) Martin of Three Rivers, Shannon Martin of Harrisburg, Oregon, Beth Martin of Junction City, Oregon, Maria Martin of Corvalis, Oregon, Christine (Jim) Bryant of Three Rivers, and Cheyenne Eiswald of Torrance, California; sixteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Warren (Nurie) Martin, Paul (Michelle) Martin, Dean (Lori) Martin, and Dan (Eve) Holroyd, Jr; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Martin and Mary Holroyd; and a son, Shane Ream.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at the Eickhoff Funeral home in Mendon, and from 11 am to 1 pm on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at the funeral home. Services will begin at 1:00 on Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Clint Zehr, Pastor of Life Church officiating. Interment will be in Dutton Cemetery.
