A Sturgis man died in a single-vehicle crash last week north of Sturgis in Burr Oak Township. Law-enforcement officials in Cass County are appealing to the public for help in solving a vandalism incident that occurred last week. A Sturgis man who had recently completed parole was arrested Christmas day for allegedly resisting and obstructing a trio of Sturgis police officers.
