Dakota Johnson, 24

Dakota Shane Johnson, age 24, passed away on December 30, 2023 at his home in Three Rivers. He was born April 13, 1999 in Sturgis, a son of Greg and Tracy (Wiard) Johnson. Dakota resided in Three Rivers for his entire life and attended Three Rivers High School. Dakota loved gaming, listening to rap music, and always made sure his Adidas and Jordans were clean. He loved animals especially his two dogs, that have passed away, Diva and Bear-Bear. Dakota loved Pizza Hut pepperoni pizza, and going on vacation to the beach. Most of all he loved his family and his friend., Everyone is expressing that he was a good and funny kid. If you ask his family, he did have a mischievous side. Dakota was loved by many and will be missed by all.

He is survived by his parents: Greg and Tracy Johnson of Three Rivers; Siblings: Alistar Thorne of Three Rivers, and Harli Johnson of Three Rivers; Uncles: Roger (Rae Ann) Wiard of Three Rivers, David (Heather) Wiard of Three Rivers, Uncle Bobby Johnson of Campbellsville, KY, Uncle Sam (Angel) Terry of White Pigeon, and many other Aunts and Uncles; Cousins: Roger Wiard III of Three Rivers, Autumn Wiard of Three Rivers, Tessa Wiard of Three Rivers, Ann Wiard of Three Rivers, Skylar Wiard of Three Rivers, Brighton Halferty of Vicksburg, Cody Halferty of Shelby Township, MI, Chris Wiard of Three Rivers, and many other cousins; Great Friends: Robert & Logan Biggs of Constantine, and Isaak Rose of Sturgis.

Dakota was preceded in death by his grandparents and great grandparents. In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. There are no services scheduled at this time.
