Lloyd Lee Rice, age 80, of Three Rivers, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024 at his home.
He was born October 5, 1943 in Olympia, Washington, the son of Wayne E. and Eva L. (Derry) Rice.
Lloyd served his country in the United States Army and was a dedicated forklift driver at Weyerhaeuser for 40 years.
He was a member of the American Legion, a golfer, and a fan of Tigers baseball. He also loved his very special dog, “Buttons.”
Remaining to cherish Lloyd’s memory are two sons, Lawrence “Ed” (Roxann) Rice and Robert Scott “Rob” Rice, both of Three Rivers; grandchildren, Megan (Jordon) Kelley, Brent Hughes, Kayla (Jared Land) Rice, Austin Rice, Tatum (Brian Parache) Rice, Lauren Rice, and Dylan Rice; great-grandchildren, Mia, Zoe, and Leo Kelley, Drew and Kaylynn Bowen, and Raelynn Land; brothers and sisters, Robert Earl Rice, Shala Lee Smith, Sylvia LaBoso, and Delores “Dede” Braun.
He was preceded in death by parents.
Private burial will be held at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
