Casy Byron Hoffman, age 39, of Three Rivers, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis surrounded by his loving family.
He was born April 21, 1984 in Elkhart to Randy and Connie (Brooks) Hoffman, and graduated from Three Rivers High School with the Class of 2002.
Casy was always a very mischievous, adventurous, rebellious little boy and loved any sport or activity. As he grew up, football, basketball, and track were his favorites. He and the family spent a lot of time traveling the country for AAU pole vaulting where he excelled.
He worked as an electrical technician at Automation Engineering LLC. He loved understanding how things worked and what made them do what they do.
Casy enjoyed golf, bowling, hunting, and anything to do with Notre Dame. He had a big heart and was a people collector in the many friends and loved ones he came across.
Remaining to cherish his memory are his parents, Connie and Randy Hoffman of Three Rivers; daughters, Madison and Emma Hoffman of Otsego; fiancée, Amy Grindel of Three Rivers and her son, Carter; brother, Cory (Rachel) Hoffman of Vicksburg and their sons, Brenden and Blake.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leo and Verlaine Hoffman, and his maternal grandparents, Fred and Charlene Bunkleman.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers. His funeral service will be held Friday, February 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Church, 207 E. Michigan Ave., Three Rivers with Pastor Paul Booko officiating.
Donations in Casy’s memory may be directed to his family c/o Cory Hoffman. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and the church.
