Charlie Holleman, 66

Charles H. Holleman, age 66, of Constantine, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024 in Three Rivers due to injuries sustained in a tragic automobile accident that also took the lives of two of the family’s beloved dogs, EZ and Lilly.

He was born February 24, 1957 in Chicago, son of the late Harvey H. and Jacqueline Ann (Young) Holleman.

Charlie resided in Constantine for over 20 years coming from White Cloud. He was a graduate of Waverly High School in Lansing with the class of 1975.

On March 27, 2007 he married Michelle Hall in Las Vegas.

Charlie retired from the State of Michigan Records Corrections following over 25 years of dedicated employment.

He was a member of SCA medieval recreation. Charlie had a passion for music, especially Celtic music. He was talented in playing the guitar, mandolin and singing. He performed with several bands including the Faire Company and the Hen Pecked Dawgs. He was a certified scuba diver, played goalie for 17 years in the Senior Hockey League in Lansing, and built an airplane from the ground up. He loved to travel throughout the world especially when he was accompanied by Micki and Christopher.

He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife: Micki; son: Christopher Hall of Las Vegas; step-mother: Barbara Holleman; brothers: Allan (Mary) Holleman, Kenneth (Virginia) Holleman, William (Kimberly) Holleman and Robert Holleman and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law: Ronda Holleman.

In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of a life well lived will be held from 1:00 – 5:00 Sunday, March 24th at Frankie’s by the Tracks, 56951 N Main St. in Three Rivers.
