Kalamazoo County Salvation Army is issuing a “Save the Date” notice for a fundraising and volunteer event this summer.
A golf outing will take place Aug. 22 at Heritage Glen Golf Club in Paw Paw.
Volunteer coordinator Oliver Knuth said the event is an opportunity for potential volunteers to lend a hand as an alternative to helping out with bell-ringing collections at Christmastime. Tasks include helping with food and beverages, overseeing a games table, help with registration and distributing SWAG bags.
