Beverly Jane Tefft, age 81, of Coldwater, passed away early Friday, March 22, 2024, at The Laurels of Coldwater.
Beverly was born on June 5, 1941, in Battle Creek, a daughter to the late Richard and Eva (Thoms) Puffer.
Beverly was married Louis E. Tefft. Their marriage ended in divorce. She had worked as a teachers aid at Colon Community Schools for many years. Beverly was a resident of Climax, Colon, and Coldwater, where she lived the last parts of her life. She was an active member of the Burnside Senior Center in Coldwater.
Surviving Beverly are her sons: Ray E. (Pamela) Tefft of Jonesville, and Rodney J. (Melissa) Tefft of Nottawa, two grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents Richard and Eva Puffer, Beverly was preceded in death by her sons: Clayton L. Tefft, and Keith E. Tefft, and her grandson Dillon Tefft.
Following in her wish’s cremation has taken place. There are no services scheduled at this time. Private interment of ashes will take place in Matteson Cemetery at a later date. Memories and condolences can be left for the family at Schipperfuneralhome.com.
