Michelle Lee “Shelly” Page, age 53, of Three Rivers, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Centrica Rose Arbor Place surrounded by her loving family.
She was born March 4, 1971 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Harold and Marie (Tank) Smith, and graduated from Three Rivers High School with the Class of 1989. She played tennis in middle school and basketball in High School and was also part of the DECA program. She loved to plan vacations and chill the whole time. She worked at KFC in Three Rivers for a while when she was in High School.
Wanting to pursue a healthcare career, Shelly studied at Kalamazoo Valley Community College and Western Michigan University. She worked as a BSN at Bronson Hospital in the float pool for more than 12 years. She made so many good friends along the way that made such a big impact on her life. She also taught at Kellogg Community College as well as the WMU Nursing Program for a total of 7 years. She cared for all of her students and they cared for her the same.
Shelly enjoyed spending time with family, kayaking, and traveling. She liked playing board games with her kids. She enjoyed teaching for Kellogg Community College. She was committed to watching long series shows (Sam and Dean “Supernatural”, Chicago Fire, Dateline). She loved to sit by the fire at night with everyone from her camping family. She loved Diet Coke so much, like no one ever saw her without one in her hand.
Shelly enjoyed being there for her kids and supporting them in any sport or activity that they did. She cherished and enjoyed all of the friends she made along her journey of becoming a nurse. She was the type of person when she found a recipe online she had to make it that same day. She enjoyed watching TV shows like Supernatural, where she would text her daughters all the time about what was going on in the show.
Remaining to cherish her memory are her parents, Harold and Marie Smith; daughters, Brooklyn and Lexie Page; sisters, Kristen (Ryan) Hunt, Sarah (Roman) Speron, and Allison (Ted) Ducey; beloved aunts; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
