Three Rivers man arrested on multiple charges

A Three Rivers man, who authorities said, has a violent criminal record and a history of resisting arrest, is facing multiple charges after he was taken into custody last week.

On March 12, the Three Rivers Police Department and Michigan State Police Fifth District Fugitive Team located the individual entering a residence in Three Rivers.

A search warrant was executed with help from Michigan State Police Emergency Support Team and a MSP K-9 unit. The 44-year-old man ran from the house but was quickly captured and arrested.

Three Rivers Police obtained a residential search warrant and discovered a stolen pistol, approximately one ounce of cocaine, 11 grams of crack cocaine, additional ammunition and other evidence of drug trafficking.

In addition to facing multiple warrants, the man was charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine; possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine; felon in possession of a firearm and ammo; firearm used in the commission of a felony; possession of a stolen firearm; and maintaining a drug house.
