Trial continues for former township supervisor

The trial for former Fabius Township Supervisor Ken Linn continued last week.

Linn is charged with four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct after he allegedly sexually assaulted a Sauganash Country Club golf beverage cart driver in August 2010.

According to WWMT News, witnesses testified on Friday, including Michigan State Police forensics officer Erica St. Clair.

St. Clair was cross examined by the prosecuting attorney and Linn’s attorney.

DNA from the victim was tested, and Linn’s attorney argued there were inconsistencies in the DNA and that it was not consistent with Linn’s. He also pointed out the results could have included DNA from more than one person.

St. Clair was confident there is multiple people’s DNA in the test but could not confirm if it was Linn’s.

Closing arguments are expected Wednesday.
