A Coldwater man died in a two-vehicle crash last week in Calhoun County’s Emmett Township.
Michigan State Police troopers responded Thursday to a two-vehicle, head-on traffic crash on Michigan Avenue near 12 Mile Road.
Investigators said a Dodge Charger was traveling westbound on Michigan Avenue when it crossed the centerline into the eastbound lane. A Hyundai Elantra was being driven east and its driver unsuccessfully attempted to avoid the collision.
The Charger was driven by a 27-year-old man who was declared deceased at the scene.
The Elantra was driven by a 33-year-old man from Richland. He was hospitalized with minor injuries. Names were not released.
