Former Fabius Township supervisor sentenced

Former Fabius Township supervisor Ken Linn was sentenced Tuesday for a 2010 sexual assault.

Nearly 14 years after the crime, Kalamazoo County Circuit Court Judge Barnard sentenced Linn to between 18 and 50 years, according to WWMT.

Linn, 57, of Three Rivers, was previously found guilty of sexually assaulting a Sauganash Country Club golf cart beverage cart driver in August 2010.

According to court testimony, Linn drove the victim to a Portage apartment after the golf outing and where the nonconsensual sexual act took place, resulting in injury, officials said.

Prior to Linn’s guilty verdict, DNA from the victim was tested in Kalamazoo County court on March 15.

Linn’s attorneys said they plan to appeal the case.
