Sturgis Department of Public Services is continuing its spring brush and leaf pick up.
Crews on Monday started picking up brush starting on the north side of the city and working their way south. DPS officials said weather conditions and the quantity of brush will dictate the pace at which the work is completed.
The spring pick up will feature just one pass-through citywide. A second event takes place in early May and another in October.
Materials must be neatly stacked on the terrace away from objects or obstructions such as power poles, sign posts and guide wires. No grass clippings, roots, thorn-bearing branches, tree trunks, stumps or construction material will be collected.
