Marvin L Fuller, age 88, of Constantine, died on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Edgewood Nursing Home in Three Rivers. He was born September 17, 1935 in Mendon, a son of Orley and Evelyn (Criswell) Fuller. Marvin graduated from Constantine High School in 1953. On May 26, 1957 he married Josefa “Jo” Schreiber at the Constantine United Methodist Church.
Marvin worked as a chemical operations supervisor and received the Upjohn Award for the Upjohn Company, retiring in 1990 after 25 years of service. He previously worked as a newspaper delivery man, an usher at the Constantine theater, and at the Constantine Creamery. Marvin also worked in construction and farming for over 50 years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, flying power parachutes, and traveling. Marvin could be seen helping in the community as a crossing guard, election official, and at breakfast at the American Legion. Marvin and Jo were members of the German American Club where they enjoyed dancing.
Surviving are his wife Jo Fuller, Constantine, sons Myron (Leann) Fuller, and Bryan (Mellody) Fuller both of Three Rivers, daughter Esther (Kermit) Parsons, Constantine, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, sister Margaret Hesher, Constantine, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Phyllis Arnold.
Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends will be received Tuesday from 1 to 2 pm at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine. A memorial service will follow at 2 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Lisa Batten, Western Michigan University, officiating.
