Probation center director awarded Liberty Bell award

The executive director of the Twin County Community Probation Center was recently announced as the 2024 recipient of St. Joseph County Bar Association’s Liberty Bell Award.

Tom Miles was chosen, in part, for his several years of service to the citizens of St. Joseph and Cass Counties.

A Three Rivers High School graduate, Miles holds a diploma from Western Michigan University with a degree in behavioral psychology.

Miles became the center’s executive director in 2010.

Miles will be presented with the Liberty Bell Award during a Law Day ceremony at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the St. Joseph County Circuit Court Room.
