Volunteer drivers needed for HHS

St. Joseph County Department of Health and Human Services is appealing to the public
to help fill a need.
Kristina Herrington, community resources coordinator, said the agency needs transport
volunteers for its clients in St. Joseph and Cass counties.
Potential volunteers should be able to work well with others, able to work independently,
dependable, interested in being part of a team eager to help people and not be judgmental.
Rides will be provided to clients and possibly family members to appointments.
Reimbursement is 24 cents a mile.
