Johnny A. Mullins, age 87, of Ontario, IN, died at Parkview LaGrange Hospital on Monday, April 29, 2024.
Mr. Mullins was born on March 1, 1937, in South Milford, IN to Carl S. and Mary (Diehm) Mullins.
Living his life in LaGrange County, he retired from Abbott Labs in Sturgis. He enjoyed hauling Amish, fishing, and going to auctions and garage sales. His favorite times though were the ones when he was spending time with his family.
On August 4, 1956, in LaGrange, he married Beverly Sue Roberts; Mrs. Mullins survives in Ontario, IN.
Also surviving are his four children, Johnny (Autumn) Mullins of LaGrange, Sally Wertman of Sturgis, Timothy (Lori) Mullins of Shipshewana, and Penny (Waitman, Jr.) Kapaldo, Edenton, NC; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Hagewood of Temple, FL.
Preceding Johnny in death were his parents, Carl and Mary Mullins; a son-in-law, Roger Wertman; and a sister, Carol Mullins.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 11:00 am at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange, IN. Rev. Josh Watts will officiate the services.
Burial will follow at Ontario Cemetery in rural Howe, IN.
Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Friday, May 3, 2024, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm and one hour prior to services on Saturday.
