Mary J. Johnson, age 86, of Mottville, died on Friday, May 17, 2024 at Birch Meadows following an extended illness.
She was born on August 16, 1937 in Three Rivers, the daughter of Otto F. and Marian Schuman. She lived in the Mottville area most of her life.
She was a Homemaker, member of The Board Directors of the Families Trailer Manufacturing Business, she enjoyed ceramics, collecting Fenton Glass and Beanie Babies, bingo, her familiy’s Sprint Car Team and most of all her family.
Mary married Warren E. Johnson in June of 1953, he died on December 16, 2004. She is survived by her children Sherry (Terry) Johnson, Warren F. Butch (Lori) Johnson, Andrew (Laura) Johnson, Grandchildren Ryan and Sarah Johnson, Kristen and Larry Browning, Nina and Peter Harney, Elliot and Haley Harney, Emily and Kerry Ellis, Andrew Johnson. 8 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren. 2 Sisters Joan Zieler and Karen (Jim) Fast. Nieces and Nephews. Preceded by Her Parents and Husband.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday at The Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon, where services will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Mottville Township Cemetery. Donations to Elara Hospice American Cancer Society.
