Three Rivers Police officers arrested a man on drug-related charges after he was found to also be in possession of a stolen vehicle.
According to deputy chief Sam Smallcombe, officers were alerted shortly after 9:30 p.m. Monday to a stolen vehicle that had passed by an Automated License Plate Reader.
The vehicle, reported stolen out of Elkhart County, was subsequently found parked outside a business in the 200 block of U.S. 131.
The driver was found to have a warrant for motor vehicle theft out of Centreville. He was also on parole with the Michigan Department of Corrections.
Officers discovered approximately 13 grams of suspected methamphetamine after searching the vehicle, according to authorities.
The driver was charged with possession of methamphetamine and receiving/concealing a stolen motor vehicle.
