Ann Sawyer, 77

Ann Victoria Sawyer, age 77, of White Pigeon died on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.
She was born on November 25, 1946 in Ann Arbor, the Daughter
of James V and Annetta P (Potter) Halvorsen.
Graduate of Olivet And Western Michigan University with a Masters
Degree in Teaching. School Teacher in Mendon and Colon  Schools
for over 35 years. Member of the Colon Education Association,
she enjoyed Golf, Gardening, her family and was a avid Entomologist.
Married to Merle Verne Sawyer on December 28, 1968 in Marshall.
He survives with her children James (Jim) (Angela) Sawyer, Victoria
(George Kendall) Sawyer, Kimberly Sawyer. 6 Grandchildren, Father
James V Halvorsen, Sister Linda (Rich) Chambers. Preceded in Death
by Her Mother, Sister Susan.
Celebration of Life will be held 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Friday, June 28,
2024 at The Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon. Donations may
be directed to the White Pigeon Township Library.
