Blanche Elaine Augerbright, age 92, of Sturgis, passed away Monday morning, June 24, 2024, at Thurston Woods Village in Sturgis.
She was born September 3, 1931.
Blanche worked at Arch Workshop in Sturgis and had a true love of cats.
She is survived by her many friends, including Mary (Rick) Oman and Virginia (Brad) Jordan both of Sturgis, and all those who loved her at Thurston Woods Villa and nursing care.
In accordance with Blanche’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service and entombment of the remains will take place at 1:00 Friday at Oak Lawn Cemetery Columbarium in Sturgis. Chaplain Rodger Moyer of Thurston Woods Village will officiate.
Memorial donations would be appreciated to Thurston Woods Village, 307 N. Franks Ave. in Sturgis.
