Carrie Hesher, 63

Carrie Jo Hesher, age 63, of Three Rivers, passed away on May 6, 2024, in St. Petersburg, Florida.

She was born on February 25, 1961 in Three Rivers to the late Charles and Georgia (Colosimo) Spencer.  Carrie attended Three Rivers High School and graduated with the class of 1979.

Carrie is survived by her sisters, Gail Stowers, Christine Spencer, Julie Brundige, and brother Charles (Francie) Spencer II; daughters, Stephanie (Brent) Kertes, Alison (Bowen) Moreland; son, Nathan Hesher; grandchildren, Hanna and Owen Kertes; loving pets, Marylin, Bode, and Bonnie; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Carrie had a deep love for animals, which she expressed through her work as a Vet Tech in her early years and later retired as a Master Groomer.  Her home was always filled with a variety of pets, reflecting her passion for caring for animals.  She enjoyed outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, mushroom hunting, kayaking and spending time with her beloved pets, often found chasing them out of the creek.

One of Carrie’s greatest adventures was driving her Vanper cross-country down to Florida, where she spent her final days surrounded by the saltwater and sunshine that brought her joy.

Both family and friends will fondly remember Carrier for her delicious home-cooked meals, infectious laughter, and free-spirit nature.

A celebration of Carrie’s life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Meyer Broadway Park in Three Rivers.  We invite all who knew and loved Carrie to join us honoring her memory and sharing stories of her remarkable life.
