St. Joseph County Road Commission recently honored five men as part of the agency’s annual Recognition Awards.
Rick Anderson, Eric Shafer, Dave Yunker, David Allen and John Bippus were recognized last month for their part in the road commission consolidating its operations to the Centreville headquarters. The process saw the closure of satellite locations in Colon Township and Three Rivers area.
Road Commission Manager John Lindsey said the consolidation saves the agency about $400,000 a year.
