Edna Frances (Sherer) Rink, age 93, of Three Rivers, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, June 13, 2024. She was born in Jasper, Alabama on October 23, 1930 the daughter of Edward and Mattie (Burgess) Sherer.
On April 15, 1950 Frances was united in marriage to Lamar Rink in Goshen, where they enjoyed 70 years of marriage and raising their two daughters. Frances truly loved her family, which was everything to her. She will best be remembered for caring for her girls, her husband, and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Frances was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lamar; one grandson, Todd Alber, and one granddaughter, April Alber.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, two daughters, Diana Alber and Donna (Jim) Gerkin, both of Three Rivers; grandchildren, Tony (Amy) Gerkin, Chad Gerkin, Kevin (Kate) Alber, and Eric Alber; 14 great-grandchildren and two very special great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers, with Pastor Derl Keefer officiating. Interment will be held immediately following at the Brown Cemetery, in Millersburg, IN.
