June P Bakeman, age 88, of White Pigeon, died on Wednesday, May 29, 2024. She was born in East Grand Rapids on June 17, 1935 the Daughter of Floyd A and Antoinette (DeWitt) Norburg SR.
June was a White Pigeon resident since 1959 coming from East Lansing. She was a homemaker, employed for 20 years at Andersons in White Pigeon, member of The First Presbyterian Church and Church Secretary, Red Hat Society, Friends of The Library, School Elections, White Pigeon Village Clerk, enjoyed traveling, reading, sewing, gardening, golf, bowling, playing Bridge. She was also a volunteer at Sturgis Hospital and White Pigeon Schools.
June married to Roger N Bakeman who preceded her in death. She is survived by her Children Lisa (Scott) Cochran Charann(Brian) Jones, Kent (Susan Williams) Bakeman Craig Bakeman, 6 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren Nieces and Nephews. Preceded by her Parents, Husband, and 4 Sisters.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 8 2024 at The Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon where services will begin at 1:00. Interment will be in White Pigeon Township Cemetery.
