Mark Allen Fenton, age 60, of Sturgis, passed away on May 24, 2024 at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo.
He was born July 31, 1963, in Montpelier, Ohio, son of Clarence J. and Yvonne M. (Follis) Fenton.
Mark had resided in Sturgis for over 25 years, coming from Sherwood.
He had been employed as a welder at Grumman Olson in Sturgis for several years.
He was a graduate of Coldwater High School and member of Neuman-Wenzel Post #73 Sons of American Legion in Sturgis. Mark was very mechanically inclined and enjoyed working on cars and gaming.
He is survived by his son: Mark Allen Fenton, II of Coldwater; daughter: Rachel; grandchildren: Hannah, Harley, Alex, Austin and twin grandsons; mother: Yvonne Fenton of Sherwood; sister: Julie Josie of Louisiana; brothers: Samuel Fenton of Jackson, Joseph (Sarah) Fenton of Burr Oak and Jason Fenton of Sherwood and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will begin at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, July 27th at the home of his daughter, Rachel Spence, 23986 US 12, in Sturgis.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
