Three Rivers Community Schools recently announced the employment of Justin Holbrook as the district’s school-safety coordinator.
The grant-funded position was offered to Holbrook, an officer with the Three Rivers Police Department. Holbrook’s salary is covered through a third-party contract with Grand Rapids-based Secure Environment Consultants Shield.
Holbrook started the job a month ago and is charged with handling, implementing and reviewing safety measures district-wide. His preliminary focus centered on completing policy and procedure assessments, according to district officials.
