Brenda Sue Meadows, age 71, of Nunnelly, Tenn., a devoted mother, Nana, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024, in Montgomery, Ala.
She was born January 11, 1953 in Forrest City, Ark., but at a young age moved to Three Rivers, where she was raised by her parents Johnnie and Mary (Robinson) Meadows. She was a graduate of Three Rivers High School, Class of 1971 and Glen Oaks Community College in 1992.
She worked at Fonda in Three Rivers and later at Dale Insulation & Gutters in Tennessee. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren and loyal companion, Bruno.
Brenda was a caring and loving woman who always put others’ needs ahead of her own. She was the glue that held her family together and will be missed tremendously.
Remaining to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jackie Jones (spouse Kevin) of Columbia, Tenn.; son, Matt Meabon of Nunnelly, Tenn.; grandchildren, Joslyn, Jake, Bradley, Morgan, Breonica, Aaron, Bo, and Tanya; great-grandchildren, Audrey, Olivia, Tyler, and Jaxson; brothers, James Harold Meadows of Three Rivers, Mich. and Dale Meadows of Arkansas; nephews, James (Elena) Meadows of Three Rivers, Mich., Stephen Meadows of Staunton, Va., and Josh (Jennifer Marler) Robinson of Silverdale, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her parents, biological mother Lottie Lou Franklin, and by three brothers, David Meadows, Timothy Robinson, and Victor Robinson.
In accordance with family wishes, cremation will be conducted; no services are planned.
