Centreville schools extends superintendent contract

Centreville Public Schools has issued a contract extension to superintendent Chad Brady.

During the board’s July 8 meeting, the board agreed to a new, five-year contract retroactive to July 1.

The new contract will keep Brady in place through the 2028-29 academic year.

Brady, 47, recently completed his second full school year as chief of the county’s fourth-largest school district.

The former Kalamazoo Public Schools administrator joined Centreville as its high school principal at the start of the 2018-19 school year.

Brady received a rating of “highly effective” during his annual evaluation last month.

His salary for 2024-25 will be $135,000.
