A Hillsdale County resident was arrested prior to his shift as an officer at the Lakeland Corrections Facility in Coldwater.
According to Michigan State Police, 43-year-old Mark Goodlock was charged with possession of a controlled substance following an investigation led by Michigan Department of Corrections and Michigan State Police.
Goodlock was questioned prior to the start of his shift June 12, authorities said.
He was arrested again June 21 for an alleged violation of his bond conditions, according to state police troopers.
