David Lee Freese passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at the age of 74.
He was born August 8, 1949 to Delmont and Harriet (Luce) Freese. He and his sister were raised on the family farm in Park Township.
He graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1967. He attended Glen Oaks Community College and Western Michigan University. He worked for several property management companies at facilities in Michigan, Indiana, Arizona, and Nebraska.
Upon his return to Michigan, David managed apartment complexes in the Kalamazoo Area. He had a love for classic cars and owned several over the years. He volunteered at the Gilmore Car Museum. For many years he was a foster parent.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Priscilla White.
He is survived by his brother-in-law Jack White, his nieces, nephews, cousins and special neighbors Mr. & Mrs. Mark Harrison.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery.
Donations in David’s memory may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
