Firearms stolen in Branch County

State police troopers are investigating the theft of several firearms from a residence in Branch County’s Union Township.

Troopers were dispatched Sunday to a residence on Sid Road in response to the breaking-and-entering incident. It occurred between 5 and 6 p.m.

Investigators said 11 firearms, including multiple rifles and shotguns, were stolen.

The suspect is believed to be a white male who is driving a blue passenger car.
