Glen Oaks Community College and Baker College have announced an expansion to their partnership in nursing programming.
A $1.8 million state grant will be used to help increase the number of Bachelor of Science degrees in nursing.
Glen Oaks officials said 130 students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing will receive $14,000 to cover the cost of tuition, books and essentials.
Fifty-one Glen Oaks alumni are currently enrolled in Baker’s nursing program. Another 44 have enrolled at Baker for the fall term.
