Ronald Eugene Kline, age 88, of Three Rivers, passed away Monday, July 8, 2024 at The Sparrow House in Sturgis.
He was born June 9, 1936 in Three Rivers, the son of Earl and Dorotha (Hunter) Kline, and graduated from Three Rivers High School.
While in high school, Ron met the love of his life Gwendolyn “Joyce” Marvin, and the two were married in 1959. The couple enjoyed traveling together.
He worked as a produce manager for Harding’s Friendly Markets, then in grounds and sales at Sauganash Golf Club, retiring from St. Joe Valley Golf Club.
Ron was a dedicated and involved member of Light & Life Wesleyan Church. He was truly about his family and his grandson – a wonderful man who will be missed greatly. Most recently he was especially blessed with a granddaughter-in-law Kayla and great-grandson Zeke.
Remaining to cherish his memory are his daughter, Amy (Jerome) Bonine; grandson, Branden Bonine (Kayla Vaillancourt); and great-grandson, Zeke.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gwen Kline, in 2023; and his son, Jeffery Roger Kline, in 2022.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Hohner Funeral Home, 1004 Arnold St., Three Rivers. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 at the funeral home with Pastor Ryan Lutz officiating. He will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery.
Donations in Ron’s memory may be directed to Light & Life Wesleyan Church or to the Alzheimer’s Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
