Cass County Road Commission officials said an intersection with an unusually high volume of crashes is being made a four-way stop.
Agency officials said a change was made this week to the intersection of Dailey Road and Pokagon Highway, just west of Cassopolis. Previously, east-west traffic on Pokagon Highway had the right of way, while north-south traffic on Dailey Road was required to stop.
Now, Pokagon Highway traffic must stop at the crossroads.
Road commission officials said lighted signs in advance of the intersection will alert motorists to the modification.
