Erasmo Rojas, age 79, of Sturgis, passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 12, 2024, in Sturgis.
He was born December 25, 1944, in Tehuacan, Puebla, Mexico son of the late Marcino Rojos and Dolores Romero.
Erasmo resided in Sturgis for the past seven years, coming from New York, New York.
He had been employed by Precision Speed in Sturgis and was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sturgis.
He is survived by his wife: Maria; son: John (Maria Gonzelez) Rojas and other family members.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday, August 16th at the Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 807 E. Chicago Rd. in Sturgis where the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be prayed together at 7:00 P.M. Friday. The Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Erasmo Rojas will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 402 S. Nottawa St. in Sturgis. Father Andrew Raczkowski Celebrant. A graveside committal will follow the Mass at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis.
