Three Rivers Fire Department, with the aid of several local agencies, responded last week to a residential blaze in the 1200 block of 4th Street.
The incident was reported shortly after 5 a.m. Friday. Agency officials said the blaze at the two-story residence spread to a neighboring house. Crews aided with evacuating occupants from the houses as fire suppression took place.
Firefighters managed to limit damage at the neighboring residence and the fire itself was contained in about 20 minutes, authorities said.
No injuries were reported.
