Motorcyclist injured in Cass County crash

A Three Rivers man was injured in a two-vehicle crash earlier this week in Cass County’s Jefferson Township.

Sheriff Richard Behnke said deputies were called shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday to the intersection of Pine Lake Street and Hess Road.

Authorities said a motorcycle driven by 31-year-old Patrick Davis was northbound on Hess Road but failed to stop at the intersection. His motorcycle crashed into a pickup driven by Robert Tiser, 53, of Cassopolis.

Davis, who was not wearing a helmet, was treated at Memorial Hospital. Tiser was not injured, investigators said.
