Design-engineering services related to a pair of road-improvement projects were approved this week by Three Rivers City Commission.
Mayor Tom Lowry said the action taken Tuesday is in advance of work to be performed on South Constantine Street from Broadway Street south to the city limits. Meanwhile, the other upgrade will be made on 11th Avenue, between Washington and Jefferson streets.
Wayne County-based engineers OHM Advisors was awarded the bid for the task. Services will be performed for both streets and the engineering cost totals $110,000.
Lowry said the expenditure will come from the city’s Municipal Streets Fund.
Roadwork is slated to take place in 2025.
Would be nice if they did something with Seventh Street. Tired of all the damn potholes.
