Michael A Thomas, age 62, of Constantine, died on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024 following an extended illness.
He was born on July 12, 1962 in Elkhart, the Son of Richard W and Julia Maxine (Kramer) Thomas.
Michael was a resident of Elkhart for 10 years, and Constantine and White Pigeon all of his adult life. Graduate of White Pigeon High School in 1980. Employed for 43 years as a Millwright OX Engineering in Constantine. Member of the Radiant Life Church, UAW, NRA, He enjoyed motorcycle riding, fishing, hunting, camping, and most all of his Family.
Married to Lorinda S Grimes on August 25, 1984 in Mendon. She survives with his Children Jamie Thomas, Matthew (Kati) Thomas, Brittany (Brian) Hinn, McKayla (Skylar) Hull, 9 Grandchildren, Mother Julia Maxine (Joe Hooley) Bontrager, Sisters Shella Moore, Tina (Ray) Michalek, Brother Richard Persing. Stepmother Connie Thomas and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by his Father and Sister Cindy Royce.
Visitation will be 3:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday at the Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon where services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 26, 2024 with Rev. Lachanut Shelton officiating. Cremation will follow. Donations may be directed to Parkview Hospital Packnett Family Cancer Institute.
