Rosemary Mullet, age 78, of Leesburg, IN, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday morning, September 12, 2024 after a lengthy battle with dementia. She was born on September 29, 1945 in Sturgis to Phineas and Susan (Fry) Hochstetler. Rosemary accepted Christ in her youth and was a faithful member of the Old Order Amish Church.
On May 25, 1972 she married Paul. S. Mullet in Milford, IN. To this union were born 5 children. A homemaker, Rosemary loved to cook, bake, sew and garden (You’d often find her humming or singing hymns while doing those tasks). She was very giving of her time and would often help others. Most of all, she was a Godly wife, mother, and grandmother to her family.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Paul Mullet of Leesburg; 4 sons: Mark (Mary) Mullet, Glenn Mullet, Lynn (Catherine) Mullet, and Luke Mullet, all of Leesburg; 1 daughter, Corinne (Jerry) Bender of Goshen; 7 grandchildren: Tristan, Teegan, Cheyenne, and Trace Bender, Mason and Bristol Mullet, and Gunnar Mullet; 2 step grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren; 2 brothers: LeRoy (Pauline) Hochstetler of Three Rivers, and Melvin (Pauline) Hochstetler of Centerville. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dorothy Jean Hochstetler.
Visitation will be after 2 pm on Friday, September 13, 2024 and from 10 am to 4 pm and 5 to 8 pm Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the Family Residence (5661 W Summy Rd, Leesburg, IN 46538). A 9:30 am funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024, also at the family residence, with Home Ministries of the Old Order Amish Church officiating. Burial will take place in Graber Cemetery, Nappanee, IN.
