Virginia L. Slentz, age 66, of Constantine, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born January 14, 1958 in Chicago, a daughter of William R. and June (Banks) Ridge. Virginia graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1976. She was a Quality Control Manager at Alcoa Corporation in Bristol for many years. In 2016 she retired from Forest River Pontoon Division in Middlebury after 6 years of service. On March 6, 2008 she married Thomas Ball in Centreville. Virginia enjoyed taking trips to the ocean, especially Myrtle Beach. She also loved and cherished her rescue animals.
Surviving are her husband Thomas Ball, Constantine; brothers Mike (Dalia) Ridge, Oklahoma City, Kenneth Ridge, Constantine, Larry (Sun Hi) Ridge, Moline, MI; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father William Ridge, mother June Robinson, and first husband Keith Slentz.
Relatives and friends will be received Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 1 to 2 PM at Eley Funeral Home in Constantine, where Memorial Services will follow at 2:00. Her brothers, Pastor Mike Ridge and Pastor Kenneth Ridge will officiate.
