Employees honored for years of service

Twenty-four people, including a 40-year employee, were recognized Monday during a special meeting of the St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners.

Andrea Guy, representing Friend of the Court, was the longest-serving employee acknowledged during the ceremony.

Next up were 30-year employees Kole Mostrom and Mark Pratt. Both work for the county’s building and grounds department.

Parks and Recreation Department employee Tonya Barrington, who also splits duties with MSU Extension, was one of two employees observing their 25-year anniversary with the county. The other was now-retired Donald Heath, who worked for the St. Joseph County Jail.

In addition, six employees were recognized for 20 years of employment. Meanwhile, four people observed their 15-year anniversary and nine more were honored for 10 years of service.
