Here’s a look at October’s Fresh Food Distributions in St. Joseph County.
Seventh-Day Adventist Church, east of Centreville on M-86, hosts the first distribution. It starts at 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Meanwhile, First Presbyterian Church on Lakeview Avenue in Sturgis will oversee the following distribution. It is scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday.
Railroad Park in Burr Oak hosts the next event. It starts at 4 o’clock Oct. 16.
Two distributions occur Oct. 17. The first is at 10:30 a.m. at Gateway Village Apartments in Sturgis. The day’s other distribution begins at 4:30 at Colon High School.
The Huss Project in Three Rivers will be the location of the subsequent distribution. It begins at 9 a.m. Oct. 19 at its property on 8th Street.
White Pigeon High School will host the month’s final distribution. It starts at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 22.
St. Joseph County Transportation Authority will provide a ride at no charge to Tuesday’s event at Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Rides must be secured 24 hours in advance and can be reserved by phoning the Three Rivers-based agency at 273-7808.
Fresh Food Distributions are available thanks to St. Joseph County United Way, Michigan Health Endowment Fund, Sturgis Area Community Foundation and South Michigan Food Bank.
