The village of Colon is sponsoring a Halloween display contest.
The contest is open to residential properties and businesses. Event organizers said displays should be in place by Oct. 25.
A panel of judges will visit locations where displays are in place on Oct. 25 and the winner will be announced Oct. 31.
The winner will receive a traveling trophy to keep until the 2025 contest.
Applications are available at Colon Five Star Pizza, Gilbert’s Shell, Sturgis Bank and Colon village office. Deadline for applications required from participants is today.
